Composition Task - Induction Task

In my remix of come together I changed the drumming on it to make it funkier and have more swing.  After making my own drummer and setting up the drums I added the drum roll that a lot of people recognise from the original into my music. This allowed the song to come across in a different light and have a different affect on the listener. I also removed the vocals because I feel like the original didn't really fit with my version and made it sound out of place. Also I made it so instead of a bass doing the hook that everyone knows from the song I made it so it was a Cello doing this hook. This added a classical feel that changed the feel of the music. In my original composition I made it so the chord progression was very simple and consistent meaning the drums and the bass line where the thing the audience were listening to. This meant instead of the audience hearing a simple melody carried by some chords they were hearing a bass line that was being carried by the drums. All of this song was very simple meaning its easy to listen to and doesn't require a lot of concentration. It was in key and didn't have any chord changes. The only thing that was changed during the song was when instead of the piano and trombone playing the chords I used just the trombone and let them ring out with just the drums.

I used a piano because I feel like it is the best thing to know what chords you are going to use as well as the classical feel it gives to the music. This classical feel is also contributed to by the trombones I use along side the piano. I like the sound of the trombone so I allowed it to overpower the piano. One thing I could've added to my work was a melody as well as some different chords
